Does my PDF get uploaded?
No. The text is read out of your PDF entirely in your browser, on your own device. Your file is never sent to a server, never stored, and never seen by us. Safe for confidential construction drawings, contracts, and NDA work.
Why is the text blank or missing for some pages?
This tool reads the real text layer inside a PDF. Pages that are scanned images or photos of paper have no text layer, so there is nothing to extract and they come out empty. Turning a scanned page into text needs OCR (optical character recognition), which the Ncored desktop app handles.
Can I copy the text instead of downloading it?
Yes. Use Copy text to put the whole extracted text on your clipboard in one click, ready to paste into Word, an email, or a spreadsheet. You can also download it as a plain .txt file.
